Jazz Extensions is a course designed for those who can already improvise but would like to get more detail into their solos. We take apart popular jazz repertoire and delve into the nooks and crannies - developing your ability to improvise with authentic jazz language We explore the endless possibilities of using exotic scale choices, outside playing, intervalic shapes and more. Most importantly, we practice them in a way that will allow you to really hear these concepts. That way you will be able to identify what your favorite players are doing and understand their approaches. Your playing will reach a deeper level and you will be another step closer to playing only what you hear rather than letting your fingers wander.
